We are excited to announce the latest addition to Bristol's life-saving network: a defibrillator at the Greek Orthodox Church site. This installation is particularly significant due to the diverse range of activities hosted at this location, which includes a church, school, and social club.
Simon from Defibs4Bristol was approached by the Greek Orthodox Church to provide expert advice on obtaining a defibrillator. After thorough consultations and introductions with suppliers, the church wisely selected a Mindray defibrillator with a paediatric setting. This choice ensures that the defibrillator meets the specific needs of the community, particularly where children are present.
The site is a vibrant hub, regularly hosting events that attract numerous attendees. Although the defibrillator is not accessible 24/7 to the wider public, its presence during events will be crucial for ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone on site.
This project would not have been possible without the collaborative efforts of the church and the community. Their proactive approach to health and safety is commendable, and we are proud to support their initiative.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in this project.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to expand our network of defibrillators across Bristol. Together, we are making a difference, one installation at a time!
